Since introducing the Krav Maga system to Wales in the 1990's I have seen KM develop from the 7-8 instructors of the original IKMF in the UK to an un countable myriad of made up, diluted and even unqualified examples of so called Krav Maga. I guess like anything else that is a potential money making opportunity it was bound to be in the end exploited and used for either financial gain or to feed individual ego.

Recently a few of my higher level students have been searching for suitable Krav Maga instructor training which has ultimately led them to search for what is out there and who is true to what they are saying (basically looking at what they will be paying for). In their search it has been revealed that many are frauds and are not what they claim to be.

With me it is quite simple I am not a killer commando, however I have experienced wanting to run home to mummy in times of extreme violence. I love Krav Maga and have devoted the past 15 years of my life to keeping the Krav Maga system true to the method I have been teaching.
